Understanding the Factors Influencing Graduate Entrepreneurship
The focus of this report is on understanding the factors that determine graduate entrepreneurship in the UK.
The report examines graduate entrepreneurship from The Class of ’99 (Purcell et al, 2005) data set, which is a representative study of 9,236 UK graduates and diplomates. The data set charts, over a four year period (1999-2003), the labour market outcomes of graduates.
The bulk of the report concentrates upon 2003 graduate entrepreneurs and contrasts these with the most comparable group - employed graduates.
