The Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) is the professional body for careers and employability professionals working with prospective students and graduates in higher and further education. AGCAS has over 150 institutional members and over 3,000 members from careers services in the UK, Ireland, Europe and other countries including South Africa and Australia.

Employer Engagement Conference, Manchester, June 2018

The AGCAS Employer Action Task Group exists to share best practice and foster networking and quality improvement among all AGCAS employer liaison staff. Devised by the Task Group, this one-day conference will take place in Manchester and attract over 100 delegates.

Skills Awards Conference, Manchester, June 2018

Following the first, highly popular national conference in 2014, the Skills Awards Conference is now a highly anticipated annual event hosted by the AGCAS Skills Awards Task Group. Enthusiasm continues to grow in developing and expanding award schemes and this one-day conference focuses on different perspectives of skills awards that help make them successful. Taking place in Manchester, with over 80 delegates.

Scotland Annual Conference, June 2018

This one-day regional conference is the pinnacle of the AGCAS Scotland calendar and is hosted by a different Scottish university every year. It is an interesting mixture of keynotes, learning workshops, facilitated career conversations and poster presentations. The conference is relevant to Scottish AGCAS members and non-members in diverse areas of practice and attracts over 100 delegates.

Wales Annual Conference, June 2018

This regional one-day conference offers Welsh members a unique opportunity to network and share best practice on embedding and delivering dimensions of employability. The conference is relevant to Welsh AGCAS members and non-members in Careers and attracts over 100 delegates.

Research Conference, Manchester, July 2018

One-day Research Conference devised by the AGCAS Research Task Group, this disseminates research of direct relevance to the work of careers and employability professionals, including showcasing some of the research activities of AGCAS members. This conference takes place in Manchester and attracts 80 delegates.

AGCAS Annual Conference for HE Career Professionals, 4–6 September 2018

The AGCAS Annual Conference is a three-day residential. This year it will be hosted at the University of Exeter. This is the highlight of the HE careers calendar and AGCAS’s biggest event. The conference presents an excellent opportunity to engage with over 500 careers professionals from around the UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond.
